Women’s Golf Quintet Honored as WGCA Announces All-American Scholars

Five members of the Valparaiso University women’s golf program were recognized on Monday as the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its All-American Scholar Team for the 2023-24 season.

Senior Roslyn Leitner (Dundee, Ill. / Harry Jacobs), junior Anna Fay (Ada, Mich. / Forest Hills), junior Katie Schreiner (Fenton, Mo. / Summit), junior Madison Keil (LaGrange, Ind. / Lakeland) and sophomore Katelyn McCoy (Chesterton, Ind. / Chesterton) all received the honor.

In order to earn All-American Scholar status, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and play in at least 50 percent of the team’s competitive rounds throughout the season.
