The Valparaiso women's tennis team concluded its spring trip with a 5-2 loss at St. Louis on Sunday morning.

The Billikans began the day by sweeping all three doubles matches. In singles play, Christina Scala (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South H.S.) registered a 1-6, 6-1, 10-5 victory at third singles, while Charmane Stanislaw (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville H.S.) won in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 at sixth singles.

The Crusaders will return to action on Wednesday afternoon for their home opener on Wednesday against St. Mary's. Match time is set for 2:30 p.m.
