Prep/Personal: Helped the Masters Academy Vero Beach tennis team win districts and regionals for the first time in school history… Helped the squad qualify for state and reach the state semifinals… Went undefeated at Line 1 doubles and won the team award of “Total Heart,” presented to the student-athlete who would leave it all out on the court… Posted an unweighted grade point average of 4.0 for all four years… Was inducted into National Honor Society as a sophomore and chosen for National Society of High School Scholars… Daughter of former professional tennis player Roscoe Tanner, who reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 4 on July 30, 1979. He was famous for his left-handed serve, which was clocked at 153 miles per hour, and is a former Australian Open champion… Learned the lefty serve from her father, and hers has been clocked at 119 mph… Has played tennis since age 3… Competed in doubles IFT grade 1 main draw of Copa del Café 2020 and won the first round of singles qualifying for that event.
