Maddie Ganz joined the Valpo Sports Medicine team in November 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer, working with the Valpo baseball and football programs.

Prior to arriving at Valpo, Ganz most recently served as an athletic training intern at Creighton from July to October 2023. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s in kinesiology in December 2020 before earning a master’s in athletic training from Indiana University in May 2023.

During her second year at Indiana, Ganz gained athletic training experience with Edgewood High School and the IU cross country / track & field programs. In her first year at Indiana, she assisted with IU football in addition to cross country/track & field while gaining experience at Jacobs School of Music and Bloomington High School North. As a student athletic trainer in Champaign, she traveled with men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball.
