Lynn Anderson joined the Crusader softball program as a graduate assistant in
the fall of 2010. She is responsible for working directly with the Valpo infielders.
Anderson comes to Valparaiso from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, where she was a walk-on and four-year letterwinner for the
Badgers. In 2008, she led the team in homeruns, total bases, and slugging
percentage. She was honored as the team's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, while also serving as team captain her final year.
Following her graduation, Anderson continued within the Wisconsin program, serving as a student assistant and volunteer
coach for the Badgers from 2008-2009. Most recently, Anderson was the head
junior varsity coach at Waunakee High School in 2010. She has also conducted
one-on-one and group softball lessons for ages five and older.
A native of
Neenah, Wis., Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a
Certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in
2008. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Sports Administration at
Valparaiso.
