On a daily basis, the Sports Medicine Department provides preventative care, initial evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries. They work in tandem with coaches, strength coaches, orthopedic surgeons and staff at Lakeshore Bone and Joint Institute, the University Health Center, local family medicine practitioners and concussion specialists. The athletic training facilities are located on the main level of the Athletics-Recreation Center.
