  Gifts to the Excellence Funds will support the greatest areas of need for our basketball programs. These resources will have a direct impact on the operating needs of these programs, as well as the student-athletes, coaches and support staff of each team. This will also be your way to invest in enhanced benefits for our student-athletes.

  To compete for championships in the Missouri Valley Conference, our coaches must be able to recruit and retain elite student-athletes who are aligned with the mission and values of Valparaiso University. The Basketball Excellence Funds are YOUR opportunity to take a leadership role as investors in our programs and partners with our coaches in their efforts to recruit, develop and retain young men and women who represent Valparaiso University with pride. Make a Gift to the Excellence Funds

Contribute online or over the phone. All gifts to the Excellence Funds are tax-deductible and receive benefits associated with the Valpo Victory Fund. Gifts can be made annually or pledged over a designated period of time. 

Contact Assistant Athletic Director for Development, Ted McCoart, at 219-464-5694 to make a one-time gift over the phone or set up a pledge to support the Valpo Men's and Women's Basketball Excellence Funds.

Join the Valpo Victory Fund

The Valpo Victory Fund is the primary fundraising arm for Valpo Athletics. It supports the 400+ student-athletes and coaches who proudly represent our University on Valpo’s 19 NCAA Division I teams.

Contributions to the Valpo Victory Fund support increased athletic scholarships and provide program enhancements that are critical to the demands of competing at the highest level of competition in the Missouri Valley Conference, Pioneer Football League, Conference USA and NCAA.

Become a Member of the Coach’s Circle

The Coach’s Circle is a major-gift society created for supporters who want to go above and beyond to make a greater impact for the program they support. The Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coach’s Circle designations offer tiered membership based on gift amount as well as one-of-a-kind benefits for members.

Buy Tickets and Attend Games

Showing support by purchasing season and single-game tickets for our four ticketed sports (Football, Volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball) is a direct way to help towards our annual operations while also helping to enhance the student athlete experience.  A packed stadium not only helps with revenue, but also with home field advantage, recruiting and retention of our future student-athletes.

Corporate Sponsorship

Through our partnership with Van Wagner, corporate sponsors receive valuable marketing opportunities with Northwest Indiana's only Division I program.  This is a great way for businesses and organizations to make a tangible difference in our athletic department that helps towards essential operations.
