2024-25 (Track & Field): Competed at the GVSU Big Meet recording a season best 2.50 in the pole vault… Earned Presidential Academic Honors, MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award MVC Honor Roll.

2024: Competed in five indoor meets and four outdoor meets… Had a PR of 2.85 meters (9-4.25) at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic (Jan. 26-27)… Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors.

2023: Her best indoor pole vault of the season was 2.76m on Jan. 20 at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic… Her top outdoor pole vault of 2.75m came on April 13 at the Gibson Invitational.

Prep: Pole vaulted for two years... Sixth at sectionals in 2021... PR of nine feet... Also competed in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading... Member of National Honor Society and National Technical Honors Society... Graduated with academic honors.

Personal: Son of Richard and Stacy Sorrell... Has three siblings, Cody, Ashton and Dalton... Majoring in biology/chemistry... Prior to college, only competed in two years of track & field, starting off as a sprinter and also participating in hurdles.
