Biography

2024: Set the program record in the indoor 300 with a time of 42.54 seconds at the Edmunds-Wilt Invite on Dec. 9, breaking a mark that had stood since 1997… Enjoyed a fourth-place finish in the indoor 60 at the John Coughlin Invite (Dec. 1-2) with a time of 7.95 seconds that ranked third in program history and was the team’s best in that event since 2013… Cracked the Valpo record book in two more events at the MVC Outdoor Championships (May 10-12), ranking fourth all-time in the 100 (12.55) and fifth all-time in the 200 (25.94)… Part of the 4x100 relay team that ranked second in program history and had the team’s top time since 2007 at 48.26 seconds.

Prep: Started track & field during her freshman year... Went to state twice in indoors and outdoor both individually and in relays... Graduated high school a year early... Two-year team captain... Team MVP... School record holder in the 4x200, 4x400 and 4x100... Voted most valuable runner at a meet in 2023... Invited to run at nationals for 200m, 4x400, 4x200 and 4x100... Cheer All-Star in high school and was awarded All-American cheerleader in high school... Was a gymnast for 13 years before giving up gymnastics to pursue collegiate track & field... Member of National Honor Society, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and graduated with technical honors and a 3.8 GPA.

Personal: Majoring in nursing with a minor in psychology... Hobbies include working out, going to football games, music, shopping and concerts... Daughter of Desirae and Edward Pusateri... Has a brother, Tristan, and a sister, Bailey... Her and her brother were born on the same day exactly a year apart (Irish twins)... Has only one kidney... Would have never ran track if she did not break her arm in gymnastics, she took up running after breaking her radius and the ulna during gymnastics... Track & field became her new sport after three surgeries.
