Valpo Softball to Open MVC Tournament versus Evansville Wednesday

Valpo Softball will kick off action from the 2019 MVC Tournament on Wednesday evening at 6:32 p.m. against Evansville. The tournament, hosted by Bradley in Peoria, Ill., will run through Saturday.

With a win over the Purple Aces on Wednesday, Valpo would move on to face sixth-seeded Illinois State on Thursday afternoon at 1:32 p.m. The stepladder, single-elimination bracket requires Valpo to win five games to claim the tournament title.

All games from the 2019 MVC Tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN+, while live stats will be available for all games as well.
