The promotional schedule for the 2025 Valparaiso University football season has been announced, and single-game tickets for the upcoming campaign are on sale now at https://tickets.valpoathletics.com/.
 
The 2025 slate will kick off with the "Proud to be Valpo" season opener on Aug. 30 vs. Virginia Lynchburg at Brown Field. The program's first home game during Popcorn Fest Weekend in recent years will take place on Sept. 6 vs. Adrian College in a game that kicks off at 6 p.m. Fans will be treated to a postgame fireworks show.
 
The home docket resumes on Oct. 11 for a Pioneer Football League showdown with Dayton. "Grit and Grill" is back for a second year as Oct. 11 will be the men's basketball preseason event leading into the football game as part of a fun-filled day of a tipoff, tailgating and touchdowns. It's a Gold Out for the annual Homecoming and Family Weekend game on Oct. 25 vs. Morehead State.
 
The Beacons will host two November home dates, welcoming San Diego as part of the Salute to Service game on Nov. 8. Veterans will receive free admission and $2 hot dogs will be available. Senior Day will take place on Nov. 15 vs. Stetson, also 219 Ticket Day.
 
The 2025 season will be Valpo's first year under head coach Andy Waddle, who arrives after a successful 12-year run leading the Marietta College program, including a 16-5 overall record and 14-2 conference mark over the last two seasons.
