Three members of the Valparaiso University tennis program were recognized on Tuesday as the Missouri Valley Conference announced its Scholar-Athlete Team.

Sophomore
Andrea Delgado (Richmond, Texas / Foster [Dallas Baptist]), senior
Madi Rogers (Clearwater, Fla. / Florida Virtual [Bradley]) and junior
Jolene Fernandes (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) were named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team.

Delgado owns a 3.95 cumulative grade point average in finance, while Rogers (3.89 chemistry) and Fernandes (3.81 nursing) also hold GPAs above 3.8. Fernandes earned MVC Scholar-Athlete Team recognition for the second consecutive season.

On the court, Delgado and Rogers earned First Team All-MVC honors in doubles and Delgado achieved Second Team All-MVC accolades in singles. Delgado led the team in terms of MVC-only singles record at 5-2, while Fernandes was second on the team at 4-2 in league play.
