Four Tennis Beacons Shine on CSC Academic All-District Team

Four members of the Valparaiso University tennis program were recognized on Tuesday as College Sports Communicators announced its 2025-2026 academic all-district honorees.
 
Sophomore Andrea Delgado (Richmond, Texas / Foster [Dallas Baptist]), senior Madi Rogers (Clearwater, Fla. / Florida Virtual [Bradley]), sophomore Lacey Tanner (Fort Pierce, Fla. / Florida Virtual School) and junior Jolene Fernandes (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.  
 
Delgado owns a 3.95 cumulative grade point average in finance, while Rogers (3.89 chemistry), Fernandes (3.81 nursing) and Tanner (3.76 exercise science) also hold GPAs above 3.7.
 
Fernandes is a repeat honoree as she earned CSC Academic All-District honorees for a second straight season
 
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District consideration, student-athletes must own at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, have reached sophomore academic and athletic status and must have participated in 75 percent of the team's regular-season matches.
