The Valparaiso University tennis program continued its tradition of excellence in the classroom as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its scholar-athletes and all-academic teams on Monday.

Valpo was recognized as an All-Academic Team again this season by virtue of finishing with a team grade point average of 3.2 or above, far exceeding that threshold by posting a team GPA of 3.90.

In addition, seven members of the 2025-26 team earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status this year – by posting GPAs of 3.5 or above – sophomore

Alexandra Popa (Glenview, Ill. / Glenbrook South), senior
Madi Rogers (Clearwater, Fla. / Florida Virtual [Bradley]), freshman
Ana Baron (Crown Point, Ind. / Crown Point), junior
Jolene Fernandes (Calgary, Alberta, Canada), sophomore
Lacey Tanner (Fort Pierce, Fla. / Florida Virtual School) and sophomore
Andrea Delgado (Richmond, Texas / Foster [Dallas Baptist]).
