Coming off of their most successful season in recent history, the Valpo men's and women's swimming programs unveiled their schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign on Thursday.
 
The Beacons open the season with their annual Alumni Meet as part of Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 26 at the ARC. Valpo's first taste of outside competition comes on Oct. 9, as it hosts Southern Indiana at Hobart H.S.
 
The Beacons then hit the road for their next five competitions, starting with dual meets at Evansville (Oct. 17) and at Franklin (Oct. 23). Valpo then heads to Purdue (Oct. 24) for the annual Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiate meet, followed by a trip to St. Norbert (Oct. 30) for a double dual versus Green Bay and IU Indy.
 
Valpo's major mid-season meet comes Nov. 19-21 with a trip to Cleveland for the Magnus Cup, followed by the program's Senior Meet, as the Beacons host Lewis, the Butler women and the Marquette women at the Valparaiso Aquatic Center Dec. 4.
 
Following the turn of the calendar, Valpo returns to action Jan. 16 with a dual meet at Saginaw Valley State. The Beacons' final home meet comes against the Illinois State women and the Ball State men Jan. 22, followed by a road dual the next day at Bethel. The regular season wraps up Jan. 31 at the Butler Invitational, leading into the 2027 MVC Championships, hosted by Evansville Feb. 17-20. The Wabash Last-Chance Meet is on the slate Feb. 21, while the Beacons will look to send swimmers to the CSCAA National Invitational Championship for a third straight season in March.
 
The Valpo men are coming off a 2025-26 season where they sent five swimmers to the NIC and earned seven dual meet wins, the team's highest total since 1988-89, while the women earned six dual meet wins last season, the team's most since 1991-92. At season's end, 12 new program records had been established and 111 new marks were strewn across the program's top-10 charts.
