Nick Malantis joins the Valparaiso University sidelines as a student assistant in 2012 after his Crusader playing career came to a close.

A quarterback for the Crusaders, he appeared in eight games over his final two seasons, tossing a pair of touchdowns. 

A physical education major, Malantis is slated to graduate from Valparaiso in May, 2013.
