2022: Did not see game action in his first season on campus... Retained four years of eligibility.

Prep: Four-year varsity letter winner... Third-team all-state, first-team all-district, first-team all-league, league Defensive Player of the Year and Team Defensive MVP during an accomplished senior season... Team captain as a senior... Also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore... Member of the honor roll.

Personal: Majoring in criminal justice... Son of Susan and Jeff Cotterman... Has one brother, Mitchell, and one sister, Megan... Uncle Bob Neatherton played four years of football at Findlay University and cousin Jake Neatherton played five years of football at Ohio University...  Enjoys hunting, fishing, playing outdoor games like cornhole and swimming... Has two dogs.
