2025 (Cross Country): Made his collegiate debut with a 6k of 18:50.69 at the season-opening Winrow Open hosted by the Beacons on Aug. 29… Raced his first 8k of the season at Western Michigan then improved his season-best time in each of the next two meets, including a 25:38.52 that stood as his season best at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 17… Raced in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 14 and finished his first collegiate 10k with a time of 34:54.0.

Prep: Two-time all-stater in the 4x800… All-state in cross country… Ran a 7:40 in the 4x800 and 14:30 in the three-mile race… Also competed in basketball, swimming and soccer… Member of National Honor Society, earned AP scholar with distinction and was an Illinois state scholar.
 
Personal: Part of the physician assistant program… Son of Suzanne and Charles Hoff… Has four siblings – Ethan, Gavin, Ellie and Laney… Hobbies include backpacking, 3D printing and Legos… Plays the trumpet… Has five pet turtles, six koi fish, two crested geckos and two golden retrievers.
