2025 (Cross Country): Started the season with a 6k time of 21 minutes even at the Aug. 29 Winrow Open hosted by the Beacons… His season best in the 8k came at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 17 at 28:12.18.
2024-25 (Track & Field): Opened the season at the Notre Dame Invitational on Jan. 25… Ran a season-best 2:06.02 800m at the Redbird Challenge on March 28-29… Set a new personal best in the 1500m at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Open on April 25-26 with a 4:26.6.
2024 (Cross Country): Opened the season at the Winrow Valparaiso Open, running the 6k on Aug. 30 in 23:52.8… At the Redbird Invite on Sept. 13, ran the 8k in 30:29.7… Ran in the 8k at The Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 27 in 30:40.2… At the MVC Championship on Nov. 1, ran a 30:51.7… Finished out the season running the 10k at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 15th.
2024 (Track & Field): Competed in nine meets, mostly running the 800... Had a season-best time of 2:05.60 at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic on Jan. 26-27.
2023 (Cross Country): Finished the 6K in 22:32.6 at the season-opening Winrow Open, hosted by the Beacons on Sept. 1... 2023 (Track): Posted a time of 2:45.39 in the indoor 1,000 at the Blue Demon Alumni Classic, the team’s best time of the season in that event… His personal best indoor mile was 4:44.73 at the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic… Had his best 800 time of the season at 2:03.77 at the MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships… His top outdoor 1,500 time of 4:23.91 came at the Elaine Leigh Invite.
2022 (Cross Country): Made his collegiate debut with a 6K time of 22:23.3 at the Valparaiso Winrow Open on Sept. 2... Finished the 8K in 30:53.87 at the Spartan Invite on Sept. 16... Turned in a five-mile time of 32:34.7 at the Joe Piane – Notre Dame Invitational on Sept. 30... Posted a 29:29.3 at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 14.
Prep: MSL 2021 JV all-conference, 2022 3A Sectional fourth-place finisher in the 4x400 and third in 4x800... Earned Seal of Biliteracy... Had perfect attendance.
Personal: Son of Melanie and Stefan Potuznik... Has three younger brothers – Henri, Kai, and Janik... Enjoys disc golf and ultimate frisbee... Father was born in Germany.
