2024-25 (Track & Field): Finished second in the GVSU Big Meet on Feb. 15 in high jump… Set a personal best with an indoor 1.94m jump at the MVC Indoor Track & Field Championship on March 2-3… Came in second place at the Badger Invite on May 2.

2023 (Football): Did not see game action.

2022 (Football): Played in one game, making his collegiate debut on Oct. 22 at Morehead State... Retained four years of eligibility.

Prep: Three-year varsity letter winner... Team finished 13-1 his senior season... All-academic team member... Had the least drops on the team... Highest QB/WR efficiency ratio...  Had eight receptions for 134 yards and two TDs vs. Andrean in 2021... In a 2021 game against Westfield, had seven tackles, a force fumble and two deflections... Competed in two years of track & field and four years of basketball... Member of high honor roll... Earned academic honors and a technical honors diploma.

Personal: Majoring in engineering... Son of Destiny and Floyd Blackmon Jr... Has two younger sisters, Milan and Londyn... Grandfather Milton Mathis played baseball and football at Indiana State, while his grandmother Jerrydine Mathis ran track at Indiana University in Bloomington and is a registered occupational therapist... Enjoys gaming, spending time with family and friends and working out... Says he eats 24 hours per day and “somehow stays at 140-150 pounds.”
