2024-25 (Track & Field): Ran two personal bests at the Meyo Invitational on Jan. 31- Feb. 1, posting a 1:56.32 in the indoor 800m and the fourth-fastest time in program history with a 1:24.47 in the indoor 600… Ran a new personal best and fifth best in program history in the mile at the MVC Indoor Track & Field Championship on March 2-3… Was an MVC Honor Roll student-athlete.

2024 (Cross Country): Opened his career at the Winrow Valparaiso Open on Aug. 30,  running the 6k in 20:44.0… At the Redbird Invite on Sept. 13, ran the 8k in 26:18.6… Ran the 8k at The Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 27 in 27:15.9… At the Wisconsin Pre National, on Oct. 19 he ran the 8k in 29:01.6… Ran a personal best at the MVC Championship running the 8k in 25:11.2… Finished out his season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 15,^, running the 10k in 33:38.9.

Prep: Competed in cross country and track & field all four years… Helped his team place third at state in 2A cross country as a junior… Placed eighth in the 4x8 and ninth in the 800m in track & field… Senior year, enjoyed an individual eighth-place finish and a team second-place finish in cross country… In track & field, placed sixth in the 800m and second in the 4x8… Five-time all-state honoree… Member of Key Club and National Honor Society.

Personal: Majoring in marketing… Son of Colleen and Bill Jochum… Hobbies/interests include Wiffleball, basketball and watching movies… Has five siblings and 30 first cousins… Said he watched the opening sequence of Cars so many times that he single-handedly funded the production of Cars 2.
