Biography

2025: Started all 50 games as a freshman at Valpo - 29 at catcher, 15 at third base, three in right field and three as designated player ... posted a .333 (57-for-171) batting average ... led team in batting average, on-base percentage (.409), slugging percentage (.409), hits and stolen bases (17) ... ranked third in the MVC in stolen bases and tied for ninth in hits ... moved into a tie for 10th place on Valpo's single-season steals chart ... was a perfect 17-for-17 swiping bases, the most steals without getting caught once by a Valpo player in program history ... opened career with a 22-game on-base streak, tied for the fourth-longest by a Valpo player since 1999 ... had a 13-game hitting streak as part of that on-base streak Feb. 28-March 15, a season long by a Valpo player ... named MVC Freshman of the Week after an opening weekend at the DePaul Dome Tournament where she went 9-for-16 with a walk, six runs scored, two doubles, a triple and three stolen bases ... bookended the weekend with three-hit games against Butler and in the win over Detroit Mercy, while scoring three runs in the win over Green Bay ... kicked off a season where she would tally 18 multi-hit games ... had three multi-hit games the next weekend at Presbyterian, going 7-for-12 with three walks over the four games - capping the weekend with a 3-for-5, two-run effort against Cleveland State ... came up a homer shy of the cycle March 2 in win oer Western Illinois ... had three consecutive multi-hit games March 8-9 ... posted two-hit games in the final two games of the Evansville series March 28-29 ... delivered walk-off single to win the latter game, completing a comeback from a five-run deficit ... went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base in April 1 nightcap win at UIC ... reached in four of five plate appearances in April 5 nightcap win at Bradley, going 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored, three RBIs and a stolen base.

Prep: Second Team All-State as a senior as she hit .509 with 59 runs scored, 25 RBIs and 39 stolen bases ... previously earned Third Team All-State as a junior and Second Team All-State as a sophomore ... earned All-Area and All-Conference honors in each of her four seasons ... played travel ball for Chicago Wildcats.

Personal: Daughter of Stephanie Kuchenbecker and Robert Vrastil ... major is exercise science.
