2024-25: Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team… Featured in the MVC Scholar-Athlete Spotlight… Earned the Valparaiso University Laurel Award, presented to the graduating senior with the highest cumulative grade point average… Also achieved the Dean’s Award, Top of the Class Award and Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors… Ranked third on the team with a scoring average of 81.85 while golfing in all 26 rounds over the team’s 10 tournaments… Golfed in 98 career rounds and posted a scoring average of 81.37, sixth in program history… Had a season-best 76 on six occasions including a season-best +4 three times – the first two rounds of the Brittany Kelly Classic (Sept. 16-17) and the third and final round of the MVC Championship (April 15)… Had her best 54-hole tournament in terms of overall score with a 230 at the Butler Fall Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) and her best in relation to par at +17 at the Brittany Kelly Classic (Sept. 16-17)… Had her best 36-hole tournament of the season with a 162 (+18) at the Indiana State Spring Invitational (April 6-7).
2023-24: Participated in each of the team’s 24 rounds over nine tournaments... Ranked second on the team with a scoring average of 81.13... Finished the season with a career average of 81.19 that currently ranks first in program history (minimum 20 rounds and two seasons)... Posted a season-best 74 in the second round of the Brittany Kelly Classic on April 15... Finished the Brittany Kelly Classic (Sept. 18-19) with a 54-hole score of 228 that ranked tied for sixth in program history in 54-hole tournament overall score... Her +12 at the Brittany Kelly Classic ranked tied for fourth in program history in 54-hole tournament score in relation to par... Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team... Earned the Dean’s Award for the College of Engineering and received Valparaiso University Presidential Academic honors for the second straight year.
2022-23: Finished the season with a career scoring average of 81.23, ranking third in program history... Ranked second on the team with a season scoring average of 81.55 while golfing 22 rounds over eight events... Turned in a 72 (E) in the first round of the Cardinal Classic on Sept. 19, ranking tied for sixth in program history for 18-hole single round and tied for fifth in 18-hole score in relation to par... Finished the Cardinal Classic with a 54-hole score of 230 (+14), ranking tied for ninth in program history in 54-hole tournament overall score and tied for seventh in 54-hole tournament score in relation to par... Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors... Received the Dean’s Award for the highest GPA by a student-athlete in the College of Engineering.
2021-22: Led the team in scoring average as a freshman at 80.96... Golfed in all 10 tournaments, totaling 26 rounds... Finished a hundredth of a stroke outside of the Top 10 in program history in single-season scoring average... Had a season-low 76 in the first round of the Butler Fall Invitational on Oct. 4.
Prep: Three-time Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Division 2 First Team All-State selection (2018, 2019, 2020)… Finished in the top 10 at the state finals three times… A four-year varsity letter winner and two-year captain… Guided her team to three state championships (2017, 2018, 2019) and one state runner-up finish (2020) in her four years of high school… Was the regional medalist in 2019, earned all-conference accolades all four years and achieved first-team all-state status… Advanced to match play in the Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) Girls Junior Amateur… Owned a 4.1 grade point average and was an AP scholar with honors… National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Student, member of National Honor Society and attended Forest Hills Northern High School in the Spanish Immersion Program… Also competed in varsity tennis and basketball, helping her basketball team to a 2020 conference championship… In tennis, finished fourth in doubles at the regional championship and was a state semifinalist as a freshman in 2018. She also helped her team place fourth in the MHSAA Division 2 state finals in 2018… Was a Michael Sadler Foundation Gamechanger Ambassador, was a member of student government and was involved in her church’s youth group.
Personal: Comes from a legacy family, as her mother went to Valpo as did two of her aunts and uncles…. The University’s Lutheran roots and her family’s positive experience on campus also played a role in her decision.
