2024-25: Competed across the gamut of the free events, specializing in the distance races ... ranked third on the team in the 500 free (5:29.36), the 1000 free (1117.80) and the 1650 free (18:44.31) ... also saw action in back and IM events.
2023-24: Ranked second on team in the 1000 free (11:12.79) and the 1650 free (18:41.35) ... fifth-fastest on team in the 500 free (5:30.41) ... also competed in the 50, 100 & 200 free, 50, 100 & 200 back and the 400 IM.
2022-23: One of Valpo’s fastest distance swimmers as a rookie ... ranked second on the team in the 1000 free (11:22.44) and the 1650 free (18:49.77) ... ranked third on the team in the 500 free (5:29.94) ... also ended the season fifth-fastest in the 200 back (2:31.34) and the 400 IM (5:27.76) ... swam the 50, 100 and 200 free, 50 and 100 back & 100 fly as well.
Prep: A four-year letterwinner for the Dorados ... qualified for states each of her final two years ... posted top times of 2:09.86 in the 200 free, 5:35.18 in the 500, 11:39.65 in the 1000 and 19:31.63 in the 1650 ... swam club most recently for Oro Valley Swim Team and previously for Northwest YMCA ... member of Tri-M Music Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Steve Merritt and Edina Hall ... major is environmental science.
