Biography
2022: Achieved the team’s top mark of the season in the weight throw at 16.53 meters (54-2.75), notching that PR on Feb. 19 at the ISU Open. That mark ranks fifth in the program record book in that event.
2021: Competed in the indoor weight throw with a season-best 42-7.5 (12.99m) coming on Feb. 26 at the MVC Championships… Was second on the team in the outdoor discus with her season-best mark of 119-1 (36.29m) occurring on May 14 in the MVC Championships… Uncorked a hammer throw of 150-0 (45.72m), her top mark of the season, on May 14 at the MVC Championships… Member of MVC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Had four years of track and field experience while also serving as a team captain… Was the Freshman Oakland County Champion…. 2019 AAU District and Regional Discus Champion and 2019-2020 weight throw state runner-up (Michigan)…. Top 15 in Junior Olympics (Discus) and top 10 in weight throwers list… Played volleyball the majority of her life including four years in high school; discovered track and field her freshman year and started throwing year-round.
Personal: Major is undecided…Hobbies include powerlifting, photography and painting…Daughter of Debra and Keith Patten... Has a younger brother, Eli.
