Biography

2019: Appeared in 23 games and made nine starts as a redshirt freshman… Had an RBI double on March 2 vs. UNCW, the first extra-base hit and RBI of his collegiate career. That was part of a two-hit day in his first career start.

2018: Did not see action in his first season on campus... retained four seasons of eligibility.

Prep: Four-year letter winner... Three-time first-team all-conference (sophomore, junior and senior years)... second-team all-district (junior), first-team all-district (senior) and first-team all-state (senior)... graduated with high honors.

Personal: Son of Bob and Susan Wickman... Father Bob pitched in the big leagues from 1992-2007, led the American League in saves in 2005 and was a two-time big league All-Star... Exploratory major... Born on Feb. 9, 1999.
