Connor Vierstra joined the Valpo football program as tight ends coach prior to the 2025 season.
Vierstra played for Valpo head coach Andy Waddle and Valpo offensive coordinator Reed Florence at Marietta College, where he finished his career as the program's all-time leader in passing touchdowns, passing yards, completions and pass attempts. He was a first-team all-conference selection in 2024 and earned the Bob Packard Offensive Back of the Year Award. He also garnered third team all-region status and was named the winner of the Wynn Kenyon Award, which is presented to a leader, competitor, teammate and friend.
Vierstra graduated from Marietta in December 2024 as a sport management and marketing double major. He worked in event/facility management at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio during the summer of 2023 and gained experience in event/faculty management at the Boca Raton Bowl Game in Boca Raton, Fla. in December 2023.
