Sydra Seville will join the Valpo softball program as a graduate assistant ahead of the 2027 season.
Seville was a standout on the diamond for the Creighton softball program from 2022 through 2025. After earning Second Team All-BIG EAST accolades as a junior, Seville was a First Team All-BIG EAST selection and a NFCA First Team All-Great Lakes Region honoree as a senior as she broke the program's single-season hits record with 80 hits and set a BIG EAST record with 44 hits in league play. She closed her career tied for seventh in program history with a .333 batting average.
Following her graduation, Seville spent the 2026 season as an assistant coach at North Central, helping the program to a 22-win season. She also has previously coached with the Sparks Softball club. Seville is currently playing for the St. Louis Gateway Gold.
