The Valpo soccer program had six players recognized as Academic All-District honorees as College Sports Communicators released its women's soccer Academic All-District roll on Tuesday.
 

• Molly O'Rear (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central), Sr., 3.781, Management
• Kate Sheridan (Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids), Sr., 3.854, Communication
• Tatum Coleman (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern), Jr., 3.692, Nursing
• Alex Arnold (Joliet, Ill./Plainfield South [Western Michigan]), R-So., 3.553, Nursing
• Ashley Trippeer (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central), So., 3.936, Biology
• Landyn Wessels (Maple Hill, N.C./Jacksonville), So., 3.573, Biology

 
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must own at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically and must have either competed in 90% of their team's matches or started 66% of their team's matches. College Sports Communicators will release its Academic All-America teams next month.
