Lillian Kelly (Fullerton, Calif. / Fullerton Union) also secured a singles win on Saturday morning. The Beacons fell 5-2 to host Belmont in Nashville, Tenn.

How It Happened
- The Valpo No. 1 Doubles duo of Silva and sophomore Jolene Fernandes (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) rolled to a 6-1 win at the top doubles spot, downing Viktoria Kliimand and Hana Sokolovic.
- The Bruins took the No. 2 Doubles match and won the doubles point since the short-handed Beacons defaulted at No. 3.
- Silva swept Anatasi Zholdakova 7-5, 6-0 at the No. 1 Singles spot.
- At No. 5 Singles, Kelly cruised to a 6-0 victory over Aly Getty in Set 1 before prevailing in a tiebreak in the second 7-6(4) to take the match.
- Valpo defaulted at sixth singles, as Belmont garnered wins in the middle of the singles lineup, taking straight-set matches at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4.
Inside the Match
- Silva collected her eighth doubles win of the season. She attained her 40th career doubles win, one away from reaching the program's all-time top 10.
- Silva achieved her 15th singles win of the season and the 48th of her career, one away from cracking the program's all-time top 10 in that category as well. She has won five of her last six singles matches.
- Kelly improved to 2-0 in conference singles play.
