The Valparaiso University Department of Athletics has announced plans for the third annual summer Coaches Tour, which will take place on Wednesday, June 4.
 
Head coaches from every Valpo program and members of the Valpo Athletics staff will tour the community to help generate buzz for the upcoming 2025-2026 athletics season. The two public stops on the tour will represent an opportunity for fans to have personalized access to each of the department's head coaches.
 
The tour's first public stop will be a live radio show on JED-TV/AM 1230 WJOB hosted at Wings Etc. Grill & Pub in Valparaiso. Fans are invited to stop by to check out the coaches show in person at Wings Etc. from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All 13 Valpo head coaches will be interviewed by host Sam Michel.
 
The second public stop will be at Valpo Velvet Ice Cream. Fans and supporters are invited to join the Valpo coaches for free ice cream from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Valpo Velvet in Valparaiso.
 
In addition to the public-facing stops, the tour will also feature stops at the Valpo Chamber's "AM Valpo" event, a Kids Only Press Conference and a visit to the Boys & Girls Club.
