The Valpo men's and women's swimming teams will compete four times in home meets at the Valparaiso Aquatic Center as part of their 2025-26 slate, as announced on Tuesday.
Â
The Beacons will welcome back past Valpo swimmers for their annual Alumni Meet at the ARC pool on Sept. 20. Intercollegiate competition begins in October with a trio of road meets — a tri-meet at Eastern Illinois with Bellarmine Oct. 4, a trip to the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiate at Purdue Oct. 11 and a quad-meet at IU Indy with Evansville and Southern Indiana Oct. 18.
Â
Home action begins on Saturday, Nov. 1, when the Beacons welcome Saginaw Valley State to the Valparaiso Aquatic Center for a dual meet at 2 p.m. Another 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon meet follows the next week, with Green Bay and Butler bringing their teams to town. Fall semester action concludes with the major mid-season meet, the Miami (Ohio) Invitational Nov. 19-22.
Â
When the calendar flips to 2026, competition resumes with a pair of home meets, as Valpo hosts Rose-Hulman on Friday, Jan. 9 at 5 p.m. before holding its Senior Meet versus Bethel on Friday, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m. The next weekend is busy for the Beacons, as they compete in a tri-meet at Wabash with Illinois Wesleyan Jan. 24 and then head to the Butler Invitational the next day.
Â
The Butler Invitational marks the end of the regular season for the women's squad, but the men have one final meet, traveling to Ball State Jan. 31. The teams will then prepare for the MVC Championships in Evansville, Ind. Feb. 25-28, competing together at a conference championship meet for the first time since joining the Valley.
Â
The men's and women's swimming teams are coming off a 2024-25 campaign where they combined to end the season with 12 new school records and 78 new placements on the program's all-time top-10 charts.
