The Valparaiso University women's golf program has announced its schedule for the 2025-2026 season, featuring nine tournaments, five during the fall and four during the spring. The slate culminates with the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Championship on April 19-21 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
The season will begin with the Redbird Invitational, hosted by Illinois State on Sept. 7-8 at Weibring Golf Club in Normal, Ill. This will mark the fifth straight Valpo season that has teed off with that event. The next tournament of the fall will be another familiar one for the Beacons as they head back to Ball State's Brittany Kelly Classic, which is set for Sept. 15-16 at The Players Club in Yorktown, Ind., the fifth straight year Valpo will play in a fall tournament hosted by the Cardinals.
After opening the season in familiar territory, the Beacons will have back-to-back tournaments that are new to the schedule this year, playing in the Fighting Irish Classic hosted by Notre Dame at Warren Golf Club in Notre Dame, Ind. on Sept. 28 before participating in the Chicago State Invite at Harborside in Chicago on Oct. 6-7. th time in program history and third straight season, Valpo will close out the fall with Evansville's Braun Intercollegiate at Oak Meadow CC on Oct. 20-21.
The spring slate will have a similar look to last season, with Valpo playing in the Islander Classic (Feb. 16-17), Northern Kentucky's The Julie (March 23-24) and the Indiana State Spring Invitational (tentatively April 5-6) leading into the aforementioned league championship.
During the 2024-25 season, Valpo compiled a scoring average of 323.58 that ranked fourth in program history, improving by over a full stroke from the previous season. The Beacons cracked the program's all-time top 10 in a variety of categories in 2024-25, including 18-hole overall score (Brittany Kelly Classic), 18-hole score in relation to par (Brittany Kelly Classic), 54-hole tournament overall score (Butler Fall Invitational and Brittany Kelly Classic), 54-hole tournament score in relation to par (Brittany Kelly Classic) and 36-hole tournament score both overall and in relation to par (Indiana State Spring Invitational).
