As part of the Missouri Valley Conference's "wild card" selection process allowing the league and networks to select the best matchups throughout the season two weeks prior to each television date, the Valparaiso University men's basketball game vs. Bradley at the Athletics-Recreation Center set for Wednesday, Feb. 18 will air on the MVC TV Network through Gray Media.
 
The start time has been set for 6 p.m. with broadcasters Scott Warmann (play-by-play) and Adam Emmenecker (analyst) on the call. The game will also be Education Night and International Student Night, and fans who wish to attend the regionally-televised affair can purchase tickets by visiting tickets.valpoathletics.com.
 
Valpo will have two upcoming televised games as the Thursday, Feb. 12 contest at Illinois State was already set to air on the MVC TV Network through Gray Media. John Rooney (play-by-play) and Kevin Lehman (analyst) will have the call for the Beacons and Redbirds.
 
The wild card television selection speaks to the forward momentum of the Valpo program as the Beacons are already one win away from matching their MVC win total from last season and have a chance to secure their best record through 13 Valley games since 2019-2020 and their best record through 24 overall games since 2019-2020 with a win over Evansville on Friday. The program has outperformed preseason expectations, climbing 132 spots in the KenPom rankings since the beginning of the season, the sixth-largest improvement nationally.
