Following last week's indoor conference championships, the Valparaiso University track & field programs have nailed down their schedules for the 2026 outdoor season, which will culminate with the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Indiana State on May 16-17 in Terre Haute.

The Beacons begin the spring with select athletes participating in the Raleigh Relays (March 26-28) in Raleigh, N.C. Much of the team will begin the outdoor slate at the Joyce Morton-Kief Invitational hosted by Illinois State (March 27-28) in Normal, Ill.

The first of three trips to Terre Haute will take place on April 3-4 for the Pacesetter Sports Invitational, then it's down to Knoxville for the Tennessee Invite on April 10-11. The multis athletes will head back to Indiana State for the Gibson Invitational on April 16-17, then the full squad swing back into action for Louisville's Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational on April 24-25 in Louisville, Ky.

Illinois will host the Gary Wienecke Memorial, which will mark Valpo's final regular-season meet, on May 1-2 in Champaign, leading into the aforementioned league championships hosted by the Sycamores.
