The Valpo women's basketball program had three players recognized as Academic All-District honorees as College Sports Communicators released its women's basketball Academic All-District roll on Tuesday.
Milana Nenadic (Kitchener, Ontario/Cameron Heights [Idaho State/Maine]) owns a 3.61 GPA in Valpo's sports administration graduate program,
Mikayla Huffine (Rockford, Ill./Rockford Lutheran [Quincy/Iowa Western C.C.]) has a 3.51 GPA as an organizational leadership major and
Kamryn Winch (Bonne Terre, Mo./North County [Maryville]) carries a 3.86 GPA as an elementary education major. All three were named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team as well earlier this month.
Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA to be eligible for Academic All-District recognition. In competition, they must have competed in 90% of the institution's games or start at least 66% of the games.
College Sports Communicators will release its Academic All-America teams next month.
