Valparaiso University women's golf redshirt junior
Katelyn McCoy (Chesterton, Ind. / Chesterton) was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team on Wednesday.
McCoy, who owns a 3.52 cumulative grade point average in nursing, played 23 rounds while appearing in all nine tournaments for the Beacons this season.
The 2026 MVC Scholar-Athlete Team recognized individuals who are at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and were part of the lineup for 50 percent of the team's tournaments.
