The Valparaiso University women's golf team has announced its 2026-2027 schedule, with nine tournaments on the books including four in the fall and five in the spring.
Entering her ninth season as head coach,
Jill McCoy brings back six golfers from last season and welcomes a pair of freshmen to the fold. The team will visit the states of Indiana, Missouri, Florida, Nevada and Illinois this year.
The season tees off with the Brittany Kelly Classic, hosted by Ball State, on Sept. 14-15 at The Players Club in Yorktown, Ind. This will mark the sixth straight season that Valpo will participate in the Cardinals' fall tournament.
The autumn slate continues on Sept. 28-29 with the NKU Invite held at Belterra Golf Club in Florence, Ind. The Beacons will also play in Missouri State's Payne Stewart Memorial (Oct. 12-13 at Twin Oaks CC in Springfield, Mo.) before finishing the fall with Evansville's Braun Intercollegiate (Oct. 19-20 at Oak Meadow CC in Evansville, Ind.). This will mark Valpo's fourth straight season playing in the Braun Intercollegiate and 12
th total time participating in that event.
The spring gets underway with Howard's Lady Bison Spring Invitational (March 8-9 at Hawkstone CC in Gainesville, Fla.) before South Dakota State's Jackrabbits Invitational (March 15-16 at Boulder Creek GC in Boulder City, Nev.) and Missouri State's Ozarks National Invitational (March 22-24 at Ozarks National GC in Hollister, Mo.). The Beacons will close out the regular season at the Indiana State Spring Invitational (April 11-12 at the Country Club of Terre Haute), the third straight year and seventh total time that Valpo has played in that event. The campaign will culminate with the MVC Championship, which will take place April 18-20 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
