The Valparaiso University women's golf team had its best score of the week in Tuesday's third and final round of Ball State's Brittany Kelly Classic, a riding tournament hosted at the par-72, 6294-yard Players Club at Woodland Trails on a beautiful weather day for golf. Sophomore
Katie Estridge (Biloxi, Miss. / Biloxi) recorded the best round of the day for the Beacons.

How It Happened
- Estridge turned in a 3-over 75, the best round of her collegiate career so far. She teed off from Hole 9 and hit even par on each of her first seven holes of the day. She experienced a three-hole bogey string on 16-18, but quickly rebounded with birdies on Holes 1 and 2. Estridge outdid her previous personal best of 76 by one stroke. She finished the tournament at 236 (+20), second on the team and tied for 49th of 91 among all players.
- Freshman Olivia Bailey (Rochester, Ind. / Rochester Community) had the team's best 54-hole tournament score and was only a stroke behind Estridge in Round 3 with a 76 (+4). The rookie posted a 233 (+17) in her first collegiate tournament to lead the team and rank t-37 overall. She drained four birdies in Tuesday's round.
- Sophomore Nora Meek (Beavercreek, Ohio / Beavercreek) was third on the team for the day with a 79, while fifth-year senior Katelyn McCoy (Chesterton, Ind. / Chesterton) was third on the team for the tournament at 240.
- Valpo bettered its team score by five strokes from Round 2 to Round 3 at 313 (+25), finishing the tournament in 14th place at 953 (+89). In relation to par, this week's showing tied for the 10th-best 54-hole tournament score in program history. This was Valpo's best 54-hole tournament team score in relation to par since the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic (+81).
