The journey ahead is set for the Valparaiso University men's basketball team as the Missouri Valley Conference announced its 2026-2027 men's basketball schedule on Thursday.
 
The Beacons will have one early-December conference contest as they tip off the league slate on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at UIC before finishing out the remainder of the nonconference schedule. The start of continuous league play and the first Valley home game will be on Tuesday, Dec. 22 against Evansville.
 
The Beacons will play home-and-home series against each of the other 10 teams to comprise the 20-game Valley slate. Defending conference tournament champion UNI will come to Northwest Indiana on Monday, Jan. 18. Later that same week, defending regular-season champion Belmont will be at the Athletics-Recreation Center on Thursday, Jan. 21. The regular season concludes with what could be an important matchup in the standings as Murray State visits Valpo on Saturday, Feb. 27.
 
The State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will take place from March 3-7 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
