Biography

2023: Played in all 11 games... Had 17 tackles including nine solos and one tackle for loss... Had one pass breakup... Posted a season-high five tackles on Sept. 30 vs. Southwest Minnesota State.

2022: Played in all 12 games... Had 40 tackles (18 solos), a forced fumble, a pass breakup and a QB hurry... Had 36 of his 40 tackles over the final four games of the season, including three straight double-figure tackles outputs – Nov. 5 vs. St. Thomas (11), Nov. 12 at Marist (10) and Nov. 19 vs. Drake (11)... Forced a fumble on Dec. 3 at New Mexico State.  

Fall 2021: Played in three games including his collegiate debut on Sept. 4 at Indiana Wesleyan.

Prep: Served as a three-year captain at Oak Park and River Forest High School…. Top single-game performance came against Lyons Township, when he recorded 8.5 tackles and 1.5 sacks… Also competed in basketball as a freshman and sophomore… A dean’s list honoree all four years of high school.

Personal: Birmingham enjoys working out, watching YouTube podcasts and cooking in his spare time… Interested in pursuing either business or engineering.
