Prep: Two-year varsity letter winner… Also won two letters in track & field… Team captain in football in 2019.

Personal: Majoring in nursing… Son of Kim and Tom Covert… Has three younger sisters – Libby, Emily Kate and Meghan... Was taller than his elementary school teachers in third grade... Enjoys fishing... Spent the 2020 summer finishing up his Eagle Scout volunteer project... Has volunteered at St. Louis Center, a residential facility for mentally and physically handicapped individuals in Chelsea, Mich. His school had a heavy involvement in Special Olympics, and he was on the executive committee for Special Olympics Field Day... Has served as a referee at multiple basketball tournaments... Likes shoes, playing basketball and following fantasy sports and statistics.
