Prep: Three-year varsity letter winner… Had three catches for 97 yards and a touchdown in a single game… Second Team All-TRL Tight End and Defensive End… Also competed in three years of basketball and three years of track & field… Team captain on the gridiron as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in electrical engineering… Son of Joshua and Kimberly Welch… Has one brother, Gavyn, and one sister, Emmaly… Sister played two years of basketball at Benton CC… Father has competed in MMA Team Quest for 17 years… Hobbies include fishing, hiking and crabbing… Grandmother played on the first organized basketball team at Oregon State.
