2024 Team Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year

2024: Did not see game action… Member of PFL Academic Honor Roll… Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors… Named the team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year.

2023: Did not see game action... Retained four years of eligibility.

Prep: Three-year varsity letter winner... Conference Defensive Player of the Year, conference Middle Linebacker of the Year, first-team all-conference, all-region team, team’s Most Dedicated Award and AP All-State Honorable Mention... Had 13 tackles, four TFL and three sacks in just three quarters played in the final game of the 2022 regular season against East High School... Played lacrosse from fifth grade to his senior year of high school... Team captain as a senior, receiving 95 percent of the team’s vote... 2022 honor roll while earning football academic honors award and academic all-state.

Personal: Son of Karen and John Wenning... Has a younger brother, Oliver and a younger sister, Kate... Enjoys being outside, lifting, team bonding and pickup basketball... Played USA Football.
