Prep: Three-year letterwinner at Hopkins High School for coach Ken Novak ... named to All-Classic Lake Conference team as a senior ... helped lead Royals to 2005 Minnesota Class 4A State Championship ... was a National Merit Scholar ... high school teammate of Toronto Raptors forward Kris Humphries ... in 2005 state championship game, teammate Blake Hoffarber made a shot from his back at the end of the first overtime period to tie the game, a play that earned Hoffarber an ESPY.
