2001-2002: Played in 12 games ... had two points (twice), one rebound and one assist vs. Chicago State.

2000-2001: Played in five games ... scored two points each against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Chicago State.

Prep: A two-year captain at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Ind ... was a three-year letterwinner in basketball ... an honorable mention All-Conference selection as a senior ... also received Academic All-Conference accolades in his final season ... earned two letters in cross country.

Personal: Son of Calvin and Lennie Hawkins.....Jason is a manager of a McDonald's restaurant.
