Prep: Came to Valpo as a highly-rated prospect… Was considered one of the top available point guards on the west coast at the time of his commitment… Is among the highest-rated recruits in Valpo history, according to 247Sports… Originally from the west side of Chicago, went to Proviso West as a freshman and averaged over 21 points per game on varsity… Continued his high school career at Kenwood, where he was a sophomore on a team full of seniors… As a junior, he attended Prolific Prep in Miami… As a senior, he attended AZ Compass Prep in Chandler, Ariz… Played in Chipotle National as a junior and showed he belonged as someone the coaches put on the court among high-ranked players.
