Brooke Bailey joined the Valpo women's basketball program as an assistant coach in April 2025.
Bailey spent the last two seasons coaching alongside new Valpo head coach Courtney Boyd at Quincy as the head assistant coach, helping guide the Hawks to 35 wins over her two years on staff. In 2024-25, she helped lead Quincy to a 25-8 record, its first GLVC tournament title since 2005, its best GLVC regular season finish since 2011 and its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2016.

Prior to Quincy, Bailey spent two seasons on staff as an assistant coach at Hillsdale. After winning just four games in the season prior to Bailey’s arrival, the Chargers won 13 games in 2021-22 and 17 games in 2022-23, advancing to the G-MAC Tournament in the latter season for the first time since 2018-19.

Bailey played collegiately at Truman State, where she capped her career by earning Second Team All-GLVC honors as a senior, playing on a squad which set a program record with 23 wins and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. A three-year starter and two-year team captain, Bailey ranks among Truman State’s career leaders in games played.

Following her graduation with a bachelor’s degree in health science from Truman State in 2019, Bailey headed overseas, where she was the starting point guard and team captain for one season of professional basketball with the Caledonia Pride of the Women’s British Basketball League. While playing for the Pride, Bailey earned a master’s degree in strength and conditioning from the University of Edinburg.
