Da'Veonna Nash joined the Valpo women's basketball program as a graduate assistant in August 2025.
Nash recently completed a four-year career playing basketball at Mount Union, where she was an Honorable Mention All-OAC selection in each of her final two seasons. She appeared in 96 games, starting 66 times, and tallied 655 points and 323 rebounds. Nash earned CSC Academic All-District accolades in her final three years.Â
A multi-sport athlete for the Raiders, Nash was also a member of the track and field program. She ran the leadoff leg for the conference champion 4x100m relay at the OAC Outdoor Championships in 2024.
Nash participated in the WBCA "So You Want to Be a Coach" program in conjunction with the Women's Final Four in the spring of 2025. In the spring of 2024, she had the opportunity to be the head coach in a non profit organization called Ladies First Akron Inc., where she coached a 4th grade AAU travel girls basketball team.
A native of Akron, Ohio, Nash graduated from Mount Union with a bachelor's degree in physical education/health and a minor in coaching. She is currently enrolled in Valpo's sports administration graduate program.
