Coming off the second-best season in program history in terms of scoring average, the Valpo bowling program checks in at #21 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association preseason poll.
 
Valpo returns 10 of 12 bowlers from last year's roster, which posted a 189.0 scoring average — second-best in program history, trailing only the 2011-12 NCAA Tournament team. The Beacons showed marked improvement in their first year under head coach John Martin, as all seven regulars who returned from the previous year's team improved their traditional scoring average by at least six pins.
 
Valpo opens the 2025-26 campaign Oct. 17-19 at Youngstown State's Penguin Classic in Struthers, Ohio.
